Woman Gets Highly Unexpected Visitor in Her Fancy New Bird Feeder
Welp, these critters gotta eat too.
One of the absolute joys of springtime is putting bird food in your feeder and watching to see what feathered friends come to your window. TikTok user @Andreja.elena procured one of the coolest bird feeders we have ever seen and she was all excited to set it up to see what sort of nestlings came for a visit.
We don't think she was quite expecting this guy in the hilarious video she uploaded to TikTok.

That is.. not a bird. First of all, this bird feeder is ridiculously cool and we are totally adding to cart. second of all, finding a rat in your bird feeder is surprising to say the least. TikTok users are having a field day in the comments, and @Oop asks, "When you order it did you select the bird or rat option?" @Beccaboo hilariously adds, "Buy him a chef's hat you never know." @MtnNrd has their own bird feeder story, and says, "It could be worse, first day I got some cute birds. Then a bear came along." That bear would totally not fit in that feeder! @HypotheticalHomosapien hilariously replies, "Ooooh a RAT feeder! Where can I NOT get me one of those?"
One tip for keeping rats away from your bird feeder is using a mix featuring cayenne pepper. Rats hate it, but birds don't mind it. Or maybe birds just like a little spice in their seed.
