This woman found a really cute way to rewear her wedding dress

When brides say “yes to the dress,” they’re saying yes to an expensive gown that will probably only be worn once. And while it’s so worth the cold, hard cash, one woman is getting her money’s worth by wearing it every year to celebrate her wedding day.

Samantha just started a new trend and we are here for it.

Most brides stick to the “only wear the wedding dress once” rule, but Samantha Burns is sharing her cute and clever tradition on Brides magazine. She’s a relationship counselor and dating coach, so she knows what she’s doing!

“As my husband and I wrapped up our wedding celebration, I did not want [to] take off my dress. I had looked forward to the day for so long and couldn’t believe in a matter of hours it was over,” she told the magazine.

We hear you, Samantha.

The dating coach admitted that she wanted to keep wearing her dress for as long as her bridal gown fit her. She revealed on Instagram, that it has definitely served as “fitness motivation.”

Even though Samantha’s tradition is new, we can’t wait to see what other trips and adventures she has in her white gown.

“I envisioned myself doing the activities we enjoy as a couple, frolicking around restaurants, parks, and ice cream shops in my white gown,” she told Brides.

She continued, “As we embarked on our happily ever after, I felt giddy about the idea of celebrating each milestone with such a fun and sentimental tradition.”

Earlier this month, Samantha shared a cute throwback video of her golfing in her white gown, which by the way, is stunning. She revealed that last year she enjoyed a fun day of “golf, pancakes, and a candy shop in Cape Cod.”

This year, she took her beautiful bridal dress on the road for a surprise trip in Boston. She later posted on social media that she shared a special night with her husband on the Boston Harbor.

“No better way to cruise #bostonharbor than with a sherbet sky and cotton candy clouds,” she wrote.

“Three days after my two–year anniversary, my dress is still laying on my bedroom floor. It’s collected some stains on the bottom, but I much prefer this than keeping it in a pristine box that will never see the light of day, or my husband’s adorning eyes,” she told Brides.

Cue the tissues, Samantha is giving us all the feels.

[subheader]She added, “I smile when I walk past it, the light catching the sparkles, as if it’s winking at me, saying, “I’ll see you next year!”

Samantha told the magazine that she hopes other brides are inspired by her tradition. Let’s just say, we might all have to start rewearing our wedding gowns.
