Woman Celebrates 100th Birthday at McDonald's
Nadine Baum, a 100-year-old woman from Hanover, Maryland, eats at her local Baltimore Street McDonald’s almost every day. To honor her 100th birthday last week, the McDonald’s staff threw her a surprise party complete with balloons, cake, and a gift of free McDonald’s during all of her visits from now on.
According to the Evening Sun, nearly the entire staff was there to greet her by singing "Happy Birthday." Watching Nadine realize that she just walked into a surprise party for herself is the greatest thing you’ll ever see:
Pure joy! Nadine has been going to this McDonald’s with her son for about six years now, and clearly she’s become like family.
Nadine told the Evening Sun, "I don’t know what I did to deserve all this. I count my blessings every day."
