WNY brunch spots for Mother’s Day

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Though Mother’s Day is still over a week away, brunch reservations are filling up fast. If you’re looking to toast the most important woman in your life, News 4 WIVB has compiled a list of locations offering a special menu on May 12.

Buffalo

Buffalo Airport Hotel: The Buffalo Airport Hotel is serving up a buffet-style brunch complete with an omelette station, shrimp scampi, and a dessert table. Brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Coffee, tea, and juice are available and a mimosa bar can be added to your ticket for $12.51. Adults get in for $55.14, children ages 4 to 12 get in for $23.13 and children 3 and younger are free.

Jazzboline: The Jazzboline in Amherst is hosting a brunch buffet complete with live music from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Their menu offers a cheese blintz with berry compote, carved spring leg of lamb with mint jus, and fresh fruit skewers with honey yogurt dipping sauce. They also offer bacon, sausage, and pastries. A coffee station and soft drinks are included.

  • Adults are $52 and children age 4 to 12 are $20.

Ralph Wilson Town Square: The Buffalo AKG Art Museum is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch this year at 2 p.m. The menu includes a carving station, made-to-order omelettes and a Belgian waffle bar.

  • Coffee, tea, and juice are included and cocktails are available at an additional cost. Adults are $65, kids 12 and under are $20 and kids 3 and under are free. Members receive 10 percent off and reservations are required.

Tewksbury Lodge: The Tewksbury Lodge is offering seating at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Their menu includes French toast with assorted toppings, lazy pierogi, and fresh berry salad. They even offer dinosaur nuggets for kids. A dessert station will be offered and every mom receives a free mimosa.

  • Adults cost $36.95, kids 6-18 cost $18.99 and kids 5 and under are free. Reservations are required.

Athenaeum Hotel: Time slots are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chautauqua Institution. Savory options include imported charcuterie, a shrimp cocktail display, and poached asparagus. Those with a sweet tooth will be pleased to see fresh fruit, a yogurt parfait station, and European pastries on the menu, as well.

  • Adults can get in for $59. Kids ages 5-11 get in for $22 and children 4 and under get in for free. Reservations are available here.

Byrncliff Golf Resort & Banquets: The golf resort in Varysburg is serving a breakfast buffet of french toast, eggs benedict casserole, and fresh fruit that will be served between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Hot entrees include braised pot roast, herb roasted salmon, and roasted potatoes. Coffee, tea, milk and juice are included.

  • Tickets for adults cost $39.95, children ages 4-12 cost $17.95, and children 3 years old and younger get in for free. Reservations are required.

J’s White Elephant: Hand-carved breakfast and luncheon selections will be available at select times between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in Lackawanna. J’s White Elephant is serving prime rib, scrambled eggs, and french toast brûlée, as well as pasta salad and chicken picatta. Assorted desserts, coffee, tea and a full bar are included.

  • Adults are $38.99, kids ages 5 to 10 are $19.99 and children 4 years old or younger are free. A minimum reservation of six people is requested.

The Lake House on Canandaigua: A brunch time slot at 3 p.m. is still available at The Lake House on Canandaigua. The menu includes a variety of salads, an omelet station, and savory entrees such as herb-crusted salmon and veal Bolognese. Raspberry mousse, blackberry lavender cheesecake, and lemon tartlets are available for dessert.

  • Tickets are $85 per person, $40 for kids under 12, and free for children under 5.

Sto Lat Bar: The Sto Lat Bar on Transit Road is offering a brunch buffet, a carving station and a salad and fruit bar, along with pastries from Chrusciki Bakery. Moms receive complimentary mimosas. Time slots are available from 10 a.m. until 1:45 p.m.

  • Brunch tickets are $60 per adult and $25 per child ages 5-11. Kids 4 and under eat free. You can make a reservation here.

Wurlitzer Events: Wurlitzer Events in North Tonawanda still has brunch available for 2 p.m. They will serve shrimp pasta, carved citrus sage turkey, and Belgian sugar waffles on Sunday. Assorted desserts, pastries, and a salad station will also be available.

  • Tickets are $44.95 for adults, $19.95 for kids 12 and under, and free for ages 3 and under.
