Winter Park Resort Faces Criticism Over New 'Early Up' Lift Pass That Costs Extra

Winter Park Resort Faces Criticism Over New 'Early Up' Lift Pass Enhancement. This upcoming winter season promises a unique experience for Winter Park's dedicated skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, known for their love of carving fresh tracks and hunting down powder stashes. Starting from the 2023/24 season, Winter Park is rolling out a novel pass add-on called 'Early Up,' which grants those willing to invest a bit more an exclusive opportunity to enjoy early access to the chairlifts.

The introduction of the 'Early Up' pass, unveiled via an Instagram post on September 7th, brings some noteworthy changes to the winter recreation landscape. For an additional $50, visitors can purchase daily add-on passes that permit them to board the lift a half-hour ahead of the general public. This exclusive access can be secured up to seven days in advance and covers intermediate and advanced terrains served by the Super Gauge, Gondola, and Explorer lifts. Furthermore, dedicated fans of the 'Early Up' experience can opt for a season pass at a cost of $600.
