Winter is coming to Marvel with this major Game of Thrones reunion we’ve been waiting for

House Stark of Winterfell is conquering the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Richard Madden (Robb Stark) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow, aka Ned Stark’s “bastard son,” aka Aegon Targaryen) have both been cast in Marvel’s The Eternals, due in theaters in November 2020. And you could definitely say that Stark stans are beyond thrilled to see these brothers reunited, despite them not being in Westeros anymore.

As announced at the D23 Expo on August 24th, Harington is the newest inductee to the star-studded cast. According to Deadline, Harington will play the non-Eternal Dane Whitman. And Madden is slated to play the Eternal Ikaris.

The former Starks will star alongside Angelina Jolie (who will play Thena), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Lia McHugh (Sprite), and Don Lee (Gilgamesh).

As Entertainment Weekly reports, the film is based on the 1976 comic of the same name. Both revolve around The Eternals, the immortal watchers of humanity that were created by godlike creatures known as the Celestials thousands of years ago, and their nemeses, the Deviants.

And with a lineup this good, the film should be far from a disappointment to MCU fans.

In fact, we’re already big fans.

Listen, Jon. You’re taking this damn role.

Has this been fated all along?

Just…give us a moment.

GIVE US A MINUTE!

We can’t wait to see our Stark brothers reunited on the big screen. We know they’re not Starks anymore, but they’ll always be kin in our hearts.
