And the Winner of ‘The Voice’ Season 24 Is…

The results are in!

Last night, the finale episode of The Voice season 24 aired on NBC. The remaining five contestants, who were mentored by Reba McEntire, John Legend and Niall Horan, took center stage and gave performances that made quite the impression on audiences. But in the end, there could only be one winner chosen. And the person crowned as the victor was…Huntley.

Huntley, who was a part of Team Niall, was named the winner of The Voice season 24. Ruby Leigh (from Team Reba) became the runner-up, followed by Mara Justine (Team Niall), Jacquie Roar (Team Reba) and Lila Forde (Team John).

Horan is the winning coach for the second season in a row, with Gina Miles (also Team Niall) taking home the title in The Voice season 23.

The second part of the program showed the contestants teaming up with their team leads. As expected, Huntley joined forces with Horan to sing a rendition of “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan. And to close out the night, the 33-year-old singer performed “Higher” by Creed.

Before Huntley was crowned as the winner of The Voice season 24, Horan shared some kind words about his mentee. “Huntley is the kind of guy I’d hang out with anyway,” the judge said in a prerecorded clip, per USA Today. “After our contracts are over, we’re going to go pub golfing. And we’re going to have a good time.”

Ahead of being named as the winner, Huntley shared how much he loved working with the former One Direction member, saying, “(Niall) showed me that I can be myself in this industry. I can be my goofy Huntley self, and I love that.”
