Monday night was the final night of performances for The Voice’s Top 5 – Grace West, NOIVAS, Gina Miles, D. Smooth and Sorelle —who performed two songs each as America decided who will become the next winner of The Voice. And Tuesday night was results night with host Carson Daly revealing the next artist to win the title of The Voice.

Each of the coaches performed with their final artists. So, Blake Shelton, who has two artists in the finale, performed with NOIVAS and Grace West. Kelly Clarkson dueted with D. Smooth. Niall Horan took the stage with Gina Miles, and Chance the Rapper harmonized with his trio of sisters, Sorelle.

Other performances included Diplo and Lily Rose Diplo performing their song “Sad in the Summer;” Maroon 5, meaning Adam Levine was on hand for Blake’s final night on The Voice, debuted its new single “Middle Ground;” and Toosii performed his breakout hit “Favorite Song;” plus CeeLo Green returned for a surprise performance.

Also making an appearance for the Season 23 finale were next season’s returning coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani (in a video package), as well as former coaches Camila Cabello, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Usher, Pharrell Williams and Dolly Parton.

CeeLo Green opened the show with an ‘80s medley in homage to Blake. He was joined by former Team Blake artists Chloe Kohanski, Cam Anthony, Wendy Moten, and Bodie.

Niall and Gina were the first coach/artist to perform together. They sang “New York State of Mind” by Billy Joel, which had been on the list of songs that Gina wanted to perform.

There’s a video package from Gwen Stefani, who for some reason is unable to make the live show, in which she talks about how many lives Blake changed during his 23 seasons on The Voice, but none more than hers.

Next, Blake, who gifted NOIVAS with a guitar donated by Takamine Guitars, and NOIVAS sang Blake’s hit “Home.”

Kelly was the next coach to duet with her artist, D. Smooth. They performed “Slow Dancing in the Dark” by Joji.

Then Chance and Sorelle harmonized on “O-o-h Child” by The Five Stairsteps.

The final pairing of the night is Blake and Grace West. They get their country on with "Lonely Tonight," another of Blake's hits.

Next was a comedy skit with Blake and Niall acting as if they’re on a family sitcom.

Then there was a group sing of Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” several former winners and artists from Team Blake, including Jermaine Paul, Danielle Bradbery, Cassadee Pope, Craig Wayne Boyd, Sundance Head, RaeLynn, Bryce Leatherwood, Todd Tilghman, and more.

Finally, it was time for the reveal of the season 23 winner of The Voice.

Host Carson Daly did the countdown:

Finishing in fifth place was NOIVAS.

Finishing in fourth place was Sorelle.

Finishing in third place was D. Smooth.

The Voice runner up was Grace West.

The winner was Gina Miles.

The Voice will return this fall as it has already been picked up for its 24th season on NBC.
