Winky Lux Just Launched 4 New Flavors Of Its Adorable Matcha Lip Balm

Winky Lux truly put themselves on the lip-balm map a few years ago with its beautiful Flower Balms. You know — the clear ones with the pretty blooms embedded within the bullet. And since then, the brand hasn't slacked on creating more tubes o' moisture that become instant favorites, like almost exactly a year ago when it launched its Matcha Lip Balm. Made with the trendy green-tea-derived extract, the balm gained lots of fans, so it's no surprise that Winky Lux is now expanding it beyond its original version.

Winky Lux has just introduced four new flavors of Matcha Lip Balm — perfect for those who aren't necessarily a fan of the taste or smell of matcha (see: me) but want the skin-friendly benefits of it. And if you need any reminding, those benefits include anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, according to dermatologist Joshua Zeichner, who told Allure that matcha's catechin polyphenols are, "like fire extinguishers, putting out inflammation caused by environmental free-radical damage."

The adorably presented new flavors include Blueberry (blue), Coconut (brown), Lavender (purple), and Strawberry (pink). Just like the original Matcha Lip Balm, they contain green tea and conconut oil, promising to be "ultra-refreshing" as they "soften, repair, and protect delicate skin."

And just like the original's green bullet goes on clear, the new flavors' pretty tints don't transfer to lips — so pick your favorite flavor without worrying that it'll change your desired look. The only thing they change is the comfort and softness of your lips.
