Pali Wine Co. is all about community! The company launched in 2005 out of a new-build winery in Lompoc, California. The name is an homage to the Pacific Palisades where the investors lived and worked. Having that strong connection to Los Angeles inspired a series of local collaborations, like Harvest Handshake with Benny Boy Brewing & Cider House in East LA. Now they've come out of the gates HOT with a natural Sangiovese collab with LA based alternative hip-hop artist and music producer, Jermtown! There's no telling what sort of alchemy winemaker Aaron Walker has up his sleeve next. You won't want to miss the free event this Thursday, September 7th at their Arts District tasting room! Family-owned winery, Pali Wine Co.’s creative natural wine label, Neighborhood Winery, is excited to announce their newest release in collaboration with close friend and LA based alternative hip-hop artist and music producer, Jermtown. The release dubbed ‘Loveland’ is a 2022 natural Sangiovese presented in a vibrant slightly hazy light ruby hue. On Thursday September 7th from 7-10pm, wine and music lovers, whether newbies or aficionados, are invited to a second event 'Neighborhood Winery x Jermtown 'Loveland' Party Round 2' celebrating the release at Pali’s Arts District outpost. Everyone can join for an evening filled with pours of their limited-production release Loveland, and a select variety of Neighborhood’s favorite natural wines, bites from the kitchen, sounds provided by DJ Vivalatina, and can chat with the creators about all things natural wine, music, art, design, and more. Loveland is available for purchase online for a limited time and at Pali Wine Co.’s Arts District outpost. A free event, reservations are not required but can be made via Tock.
Fans of Pali Wine Co. and Neighborhood Winery have longed for a Sangiovese and this release fulfills those desires. Loveland evokes the feeling of a morning walk through West Adams in Los Angeles, where Jermtown lives, with notes of wild red berries, dried herbs, roses, a delicate hint of orange peel, and an interplay of earthy tones. Jermtown brought in friend Nicolle Velasco to design a label that visually represents how the name 'Loveland' sounds and feels, and also conveys its actual taste. All red everything and incredibly fun, with notes of juicy berries, watermelon, strawberry, cranberry with a refreshing tartness, this wine is intended to be served chilled and enjoyed at any time of day.
