There are fewer things greater in this world than Aldi and the alcohol it sells. That's why pretty much everyone in our office jumped out of their seat upon hearing the Aldi Wine Club is looking for "budding wine connoisseurs to join [their] new panel."

Over the course of the next three months, Aldi goes on to explain, they'll be picking 30 people to taste their forthcoming (and current) wines. "You’ll be the first to hear about our award-winning wines, and [Aldi will] send you three delicious bottles from [their] range to try over a six week period," apparently!

Interested? I thought you might be. Here's what you've got to do to throw your hat in the ring. You can send an e-mail to wineclub@aldi.co.uk (oops, yeah, I didn't mention the U.K. part yet-this is a U.K. thing, guys), and in that email, include your name, your Twitter handle, 150 words on why you'd be a fantastic addition to the squad, and some proof that you're over 18 years of age (because of the U.K. thing, remember?).

Once you're in, the job is pretty easy. You won't actually get paid, but you're supposed to review, tweet, and generally just enjoy the wines. You've got until June 3 to submit your app, BTW.

...And because I have a feeling you're going to be sampling a lot of Aldi wines this (U.S.) holiday weekend in preparation, you might want to go ahead and email them now.
