Who Will Win 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Season 8? Episode 4 Power Rankings

The fourth episode of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 8 aired this Friday, and we're down another queen. Plus four episodes in, we're starting to get a pretty clear idea as to who is in it for the long haul and who is likely next on the chopping block.

This week we said goodbye to Darienne Lake, who is really the first queen to exit the competition who seemed like a viable threat to win pre-season. Darienne was a hysterical lip sync assassin on Season 6 of the show, getting unceremoniously chopped right before the finale. This round, however, things seemed rocky from the start. Despite what the internet (and even AOC) saw as an iconic Billie Eilish look, she found herself in the bottom in the premiere, and has been dodging bullets (or maybe lip sticks) ever since. Last week I ranked her 9th out of 9, so it's not a shock.

Which brings us to the question: who will win Season 8 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars?

To that end, I've put together a ranking of the 8 remaining queens competing on this season, ordered from least likely to most likely to be inducted into the Drag Race Hall of Fame. It's a power ranking if you will, and while there are supposed spoilers on dark corners of the internet, I haven't read any of them. This ranking is also based on how likely the queen is to WIN the competition, not just go far.

Here's my ranking from last week after Episode 3 aired if you'd like to read.

Feel free to swing back to Parade from week to week because I will be updating as the season progresses.

8. Kahanna Montrese

Last week's placement: Eighth
Track Record: Winner, Bottom, Safe, Safe

With the exit of Darienne, Kahanna now sits at the bottom of my rankings. While she did win the first episode, she just really has not stuck out much this season. She placed safe this week in her horror skit, but I think that was mostly based on Heidi and Kandy's strong performances buoying the team. She's just not particularly funny, and you got to make Ru laugh. As we near the midway point of the season, places to hide are disappearing quickly.

7. Jaymes Mansfield

Last week's placement: Seventh
Track Record: Top, Top, Safe, Bottom

Both Jaymes and Alexis were collateral damage this week in Ru's need to see Darienne go home. Both are funny ladies, who did as much as they could for their team, but ultimately they got the unlucky glitter balloons that paired them with the person who narratively needed to leave the competition. While Jaymes seemed to be flying high in the premiere, things have slowed down a bit for her, and I could see her getting the chop if she finds herself in the bottom this week.

6. Alexis Michelle

Last week's placement: Fifth
Track Record: Top, Safe, Safe, Bottom

I adore Alexis, but this season the fates/judges seem out to get her. Since she is a trained actress, this should have been an easy win for her, but being stuck in the least funny sketch made it tough for her to shine. And the group judging made her incredible ass-less wedding dress (the best look of the night imho) irrelevant. She really needs a big win to bounce back in the competition or she's going to be left behind (with a smoke monster).

5. Lala Ri

Last week's placement: Sixth
Track Record: Top, Safe, Top, Safe

By judging the three trios as groups this week, Lala missed out on a top placement that she probably deserved. Her and Heidi were hysterical as pair of terrifying kidnappers, and should have got more recognition. Even still, the safe placement (and Ru's appreciation for Lala) is enough for me to bump her ahead of the waning Alexis Michelle.

4. Heidi N Closet

Last week's placement: Third
Track Record: Safe, Top, Safe, Safe

I don't know what's happening to Heidi. She's been excellent in EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE and yet she's been declared safe 3/4 times. Coming into the season, I thought for sure this would be the Heidi N Closet show, but for whatever reason, Ru's light seems to have pivoted away from Miss Soft & Supple. Plus, I'm still deeply invested in the "Heidi Quits" plotline set up last week, and I think there's a 50/50 chance she exits of her own accord (especially if she doesn't do well next week).

3. Jessica Wild

Last week's placement: Fourth
Track Record: Safe, Safe, Win, Top

I bumped Jessica ahead of Heidi after two very solid back-to-back weeks. She excelled in the acting challenge as a mean girl and continues to look gorgeous on the runway. This may seem out of left field, but I also think the fact that Shannel was the lip sync assassin this week, is a good sign for Jessica. Clearly Ru is thinking about the early seasons and trying to promote those queens and the long herstory of the show. There'd be no better way to send people scrambling to stream Season 2 than with a Jessica Wild win.

2. Kandy Muse

Last week's placement: Second
Track Record: Safe, Safe, Top, Top

After a slow start, the Kandy train seems to be up and running. She was in the top for a second week in a row, and her inflated runway look was jaw dropping. By letting Jimbo take the odd-man-out role in the skit, she basically handed over the win, but it was another strong showing for the Muse.

1. Jimbo

Last week's placement: First
Track Record: Safe, Win, Top, Win

With every passing week, a Jimbo win seems more and more inevitable. She's won twice. She topped last week with the hideous lettuce look. Ru seems endlessly enamored with her. The only way someone else takes home the crown is in a perfect Manila Luzon/Naomi Smalls storm.
