Here’s How You Can Win Free McDonald’s Burgers for a Year
The devious Hamburglar is a beloved character in the McDonald's universe despite his tendency to steal food. Now, if customers catch him in the act, they can win free burgers from the fast food chain for an entire year.
From now until Feb. 25, McDonald's customers should keep an eye out whenever they go to the Golden Arches for some food. The Hamburglar is making off with McDonald's new-and-improved burgers in his Burgercuda, a custom 1970 Plymouth Barracuda designed with the iconic character in mind. The vehicles features the Hamburglar's signature black and white stripes on the exterior and interior, a spare tire disguised as a giant cheeseburger, and a hidden burger warmer in the center console.
If you spot the car at your local restaurant and scan the vehicle's code, you'll be rewarded with an Arch Card as well as some Hamburglar-inspired gear. But regardless of if you see his car or not, you can still enter the sweepstakes to win free McDonald's burgers for a year; just put your name in at SpotHamburglar.com by 11:59 p.m. ET on Feb. 25.
"McDonald’s built a legacy on serving delicious burgers, but anytime we have an opportunity to make the best even better, we take it,” McDonald's chief marketing and customer experience officer Tariq Hassan said of the promotion. “It's no surprise these changes caught the attention of our biggest burger fan: the Hamburglar.
