Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne "Gammy" Banfield-Jones are back at it again with another eye-opening episode of Red Table Talk on Facebook Live.

This week, the trio tackled the topics of polyamory and "throuples," something that Pinkett Smith said Willow, in particular, has taken strong interest in, "reading and listening to podcasts" on the subject. But before they got down to the nitty-gritty, Willow made sure to provide a clear definition of the words.

"Polyamory is an honest, romantic relationship with multiple people at the same time, no secrets or lies," she said. "A throuple is a type of polyamorous relationship-three people having a consensual romance. Polyamory is not polygamy. That's when a man has multiple wives. And it's not swinging, when couples have casual sex."

Before sitting down to talk with a real-life throuple-husband and wife Thomas and Cathy, and their girlfriend Nicole-the three women all came at the topic with different perspectives. Banfield-Jones admitted that initially, polyamory "doesn't sit well with me," but she was open-minded and willing to hear why it works for others. Pinkett Smith confessed that "Will and I are constantly in conversations about alternatives" to their relationship, and understood why the concept would work for some partners. And Willow confidently admitted that she would "of course" enter into a polyamorous relationship.

"Monogamy I feel actually inhibits you from learning those skills of evolving past those feelings of insecurity and just jealousy," Willow said. "This is the thing. There is so many different kinds of people in this world and so many things to learn-so many people to learn from, and I don't see the benefit in not learning those things, or in not putting myself in a position to learn as much as I possibly can from as many people as I possibly can."

Later on, after hearing the story of how their guests exist in a loving, copacetic throuple, Nicole asked Willow what her theoretical polyamorous relationship would look like.

"I love men and women equally, and so I would definitely want one man, one woman," the 18-year-old said. "I feel like I could be polyfidelitous with those two people. I'm not the type of person that is constantly looking for new sexual experiences. I focus a lot on the emotional connection."

Echoing her daughter, Pinkett Smith said that she too could see herself entering in a throuple, explaining that co-parenting with Will Smith's ex-wife, Sheree Zampino, for 20-plus years has warmed her up to the idea, describing it as a "non-sexual throuple."

"I could probably be romantically engaged with somebody else, but I can only have sex with one person," the RTT host said. "I'm sexually monogamous, but I definitely could be romantically poly."

As for Gammy? She said "Hell, no" to ever considering the concept for herself. But after the episode's discussion, she did admit to feeling enlightened. "I understand it better, and that's what this is all about."

During the episode, Pinkett Smith also opened up about her experience with threesomes-which made Willow cover her eyes. “I was very, very young,” Pinkett Smith said. “I didn’t like it. It just didn’t have the level of intimacy. But I tried it once and I was like, ‘Well, that’s not for me.'"

She continued, “But I always think if I was in love with two people, that’s another level. I could see and join a threesome then. But I was a kid, I saw two cute people, and I was like, ‘Hey,’” she said.
