William Daniels Rings in 96th Birthday With ‘Boy Meets World’ Co-Stars

Mr. Feeny's class is back in session.

William Daniels celebrated his 97^th birthday over the weekend and he linked up with a few of his former Boy Meets World cast members to celebrate.

Along with his wife, Bonnie Bartlett Daniels, who appeared on the show as Lila Bolander, the couple also met up with Danielle Fishel, 41, Rider Strong, 43, Will Friedle, 46, and Trina McGee, 53.

In a photo obtained exclusively by PEOPLE, the cast of the hit '90s sitcom got together for dinner ahead of the 2023 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, where they were set to appear. Daniels also shared a snippet from his birthday celebrations on Twitter, noting, "Time Flies!" and that you should "spend it with the ones you love."

Daniels portrayed Mr. Feeny–the teacher and mentor to Ben Savage's Cory Matthews–for all seven seasons of the show, which initially aired from 1993 to 2000. His character was known for offering up some meaningful advice to his students, and til this day, the actor is still sharing his words of wisdom with his fellow cast mates.

Friedle, Strong, and Fishel sat down with the outlet back in June where they gushed over Daniels' wise words that everyone could look forward to while watching the ABC sitcom.

"Ninety-five years old and he still shoots out the pearls of wisdom. His wife, Bonnie, as well. Talking to them is still magical," Friedle told the outlet. "If you're willing to listen, Bill is dropping gems left and right," Fishel added.

"When we were kids, goofing off and having a good time, he was very much a Feeny-like presence," Strong said.

"Even when the cameras weren't there," he added. "In terms of knowing his lines, being a complete professional, being on time. Those were things that we needed to see, and had to learn to emulate in order to be professionals in the industry."
