Wildlife Photographer's Images of Grizzly Bears Fishing Are Just Stunning

Nature at its finest.

We've all taken a picture that we're proud of at least once in life, but nothing we've ever shot with our cameras has looked anything like @mikewolfel's latest masterpiece. He took this series of photos while viewing wildlife in Alaska, though TikTokers from around the world are impressed with both the location and his photography skills. Then again, it would be hard not to be impressed by a bear encounter like this!

Wolfel was able to photograph several grizzly bears during a photo hike in Alaska, and every one of his pictures is more impressive than the last. In fact, they have us ready to book a trip to Alaska for ourselves!

Wow--there are so many grizzlies hanging out in this river! We completely understand @hannahxmichelle who said, "this video stopped me in my tracks. Never knew so many bears gathered in one spot like this!" Isn't it breathtaking, though? We can only imagine what it would be like to see them in person!

As @m.o.o.n.z.e.l.d.a. replied, "YouTube has a live [stream] during the summer so you can watch the Bears at Katmai National Park." That must be where this spot is! That also gives us an answer to @jaesle85's question: "Am I the only one wondering how you stay safe while filming so closely?"

"He’s on a platform that’s got a barrier," @walmartfrenchbread answered. "This is a famous bear-watching spot." That makes sense! No one would want to get too close to these animals, no matter how majestic they may be. Safety is always the most important thing!
