From last week’s Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, it was clear that we could expect great things from Daenerys Targaryen in the weeks ahead. That’s because she finally arrived to Dragonstone, and though she only said three words at the very end of the episode upon her arrival, they were VERY effective.

“Shall we begin?”

From the looks of this new Game of thrones trailer, which was unveiled at Comic-Con, it appears that whatever her plan is, it’s well underway. “I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms,” she assertively says at the beginning of the trailer. “And I will.” We certainly admire her determination, but it appears the getting there, if she does in fact get there, won’t be easy.

Specifically, the trailer shows Cersei declaring, “The Mad King’s daughter will destroy the realm. We must stand together if we hope to stop her.” Then, Jon tells his people that they’ll need help from Dany and her dragons to defeat the Night King, but his plan is questioned because, “A Targaryen cannot be trusted.” YIKES, HARSH.

A lot of other wild(ling) stuff goes down, which Littlefinger sums up best when speaking with Sansa: “Everyone is your enemy, everyone is your friend, every possible series of events is happening all at once.” TALK ABOUT A WHOLE LOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO.

But, before we leave, we HAVE to discuss the last bit the trailer has to offer. You know, that ~wicked~ character who returns. Well, that character is none other than Melisandre, who Jon banished at the end of last season. Now, it looks like she’s teaming up with Dany. “I believe you have a role to play, as does another,” Melisandre tells the Mother of Dragons.

Sorry, what?! Is she talking about Jon??!! Are Jon and Dany going to team up???!!! OMG, IT’S ALL COMING TOGETHER.

We have so many questions, and so much theorizing to do. For now, we’ll look forward to the next episode of Game of Thrones, which airs on HBO this Sunday.
