Why Zendaya and Tom Holland Skipped the 2023 Oscars

The Oscars are officially tonight after a pretty interesting (read: totally chaotic) run last year. And though I personally can't wait to text every single group chat I'm in about seeing my absolute fav celebs from the comfort of my own, v unglamorous couch, there are sadly some people who won't be in attendance. Case in point? Zendaya and Tom Holland 😭.

Sad because we won't get to bear witness to another iconic fashion moment c/o Z, but happy because they're currently thriving in Europe, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. *Le sigh* Yep, it looks like these two were spotted walking around, holding hands and playfully swinging them in the air, as one does when they're ~in love~.

"The arms swinging 😩🫶," commented one user, while another mused, "I love them soooo much ❤️❤️." Honestly? Same tbh. However, this wasn't the only time the duo was seen out and about in the bustling city. They were *also* caught shopping with Tom's mom, Nikki Holland, so, yah, just not-so-casual sightings that prove these two are as strong as ever.

Just this past week, the Euphoria actor was seen bopping around in France for Paris fashion week and attending v exclusive events, like the Louis Vuitton Fall 2023 womenswear show. Stunning pics of her 'fit incoming in 3...2...1...

Apparently, the actor loved the look so much that she posted a carousel of images in it alongside her dog Noon with the caption, "Look who came with me to Paris..."

Needless to say, the actor has been busy as of late generally being in love and living life, which fair! Back in January, Zendaya also skipped the Golden Globes, though she legit managed to win the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama Television Series for Euphoria that night. Casual. “Zendaya couldn't be with us tonight. So, we are going to accept this award on her behalf. She's busy, she's working, y'all. It's a good thing,” said Jay Ellis, who presented the trophy alongside Glen Powell. The theme here is obviously booked and busy, and I am obsessed!
