Why You Won't See Sofia Richie on the Next Season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians
In a new interview, Sofia Richie talked about her plans for appearing on the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
She said that she wants to get more into acting and doesn't want to hold "back on things" for fear of failure anymore.
She first appeared on the show last October when she went on vacation with boyfriend Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian.
Sofia Richie doesn't see reality television in her future. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Richie said that she doesn't plan to appear as often on Keeping Up with the Kardashians in the show's upcoming season.
"Well, because I want to get into acting!" Richie told the outlet. "I feel like, for a while, I kind of held back on things because I was afraid of failure, but 2020 is [the year of] no fear! I'm gonna be doing acting stuff really soon. Great things are happening and I'm really excited about it."

She also teased a bit about the roles she's been auditioning for. "The roles I'm reading for right now are kind of similar to me, so they're easy for me to play, and I really, really enjoy it," she said, adding that as the daughter of Lionel Richie and younger sister of Nicole Richie, growing up "kind of felt like I was stuck in everyone's shadow. But I'm very different from both my sister and my dad, so I feel like I've kind of navigated into my lane and it's been great for me."
Richie made her KUWTK debut last October, when she vacationed with boyfriend Scott Disick and his ex-girlfriend/the mother of his children, Kourtney Kardashian.
