The Voice star Ariana Grande might forever think twice about being on a team with Blake Shelton after one particularly hilarious incident.

In Jimmy Fallon’s new show That’s My Jam, which premiered November 29 on Peacock, celebrity guests are asked to take part in a series of fun musical-themed games inspired by the most popular Tonight Show bits. For the first episode, The Voice coaches Ariana, Blake, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend were contestants on the show, and the hilariously fun music challenges were just as entertaining to watch as episodes of The Voice.

One of the games The Voice coaches played was called Slay It, Don’t Spray It. The game tests the four musicians’ lyrical knowledge of pop songs, such as Ariana’s “Break Free” and Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” and sprays the team with water if they get the lyrics wrong. For this challenge, The Voice coaches were split into two teams—Ariana and Blake versus Kelly and John.

Given that The Voice coaches are some of the biggest names in music, it was hilarious to see how much (or how little!) they knew about popular music. Overall, Blake, a 10-year Voice veteran and longtime country music star, knew the least lyrics out of the group, which resulted in one particularly epic moment with Ariana. Upon realizing that Blake didn’t know how to properly sing “Shake It Off,” Ariana took off and ran out of her sound booth to protect her perfectly done hair and makeup from getting sprayed with water (hop to the 4:34 mark).

Of course, Ariana fleeing the scene was all in good fun and reminded viewers why everyone loves the “Thank U, Next” singer’s friendship with Blake. The game show ended with John and Kelly winning and taking home a golden boombox trophy, while Ariana and Blake unfortunately got soaked.

To catch the full episode, head over to Peacock. Otherwise, you can watch the premiere episode of That’s My Jam at 9 p.m. ET on January 3 on NBC.
