Why Victoria Beckham Was 'Pissed Off' Over David's Photoshoot With Jennifer Lopez

Victoria and David Beckham are one of the longest-lasting celebrity couples, but in the Netflix docuseries Beckham, the pair revealed some of the issues they've encountered throughout their 24-year marriage.
In one of the episodes, the Spice Girls member shared that she was furious when the athlete nearly skipped the birth of their son Cruz to shoot a Pepsi commercial with Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé. It's explained that Victoria's doctors said it was necessary to schedule a C-section, which coincided with Beckham's shooting day.
"What do you mean a shoot?" Victoria, now 49, recalled asking her husband. "I was like, 'Seriously, I’m about to burst. I'm on bed rest! Are you kidding me? You've got a damn photo shoot with Jennifer Lopez, who is gorgeous and not about to have a baby?"
The retired soccer star was able to reschedule filming, but Victoria still was unhappy over the ad when she saw a tabloid include a photo of David with Lopez, insinuating that something was going on between the two.
"So I had my C-section, and I remember lying there, don’t feel at my most gorgeous, let's just say," she explained. "And I remember someone showing me the front page of the newspaper, which was a gorgeous picture of David between Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé, and the headline was, 'What would Posh say?' Let me tell you what Posh would say. Posh was pissed off!"
In the docuseries, Victoria also addressed the rumors of David's affair with a woman named Rebecca Loos, admitting, "It was the hardest period for us because it felt like the world was against us. And here’s the thing, we were against each other, if I’m being completely honest."
She added, "Up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad."
