Why Travis Scott Deleted His Instagram to Save His Relationship With Kylie Jenner
Travis Scott's sudden decision to delete his Instagram has everything to do with Kylie Jenner, TMZ is reporting, and the cheating she allegedly accused him of last week. Multiple sources familiar with the situation told TMZ that the thing Jenner found on Scott's phone that upset her was "a number of what she deemed 'overly friendly' DMs between him and several women with whom he'd been chatting," the outlet wrote. Jenner saw that as "evidence" to back her cheating accusations. She was "incredibly pissed" about them initially.
Scott, according to TMZ, told Jenner that they "didn't amount to anything more than innocent flirting, and he didn't act on anything," the outlet wrote. And to prove his loyalty to her, Scott chose to take down his account for the time being. Scott's deletion of Instagram won't be permanent though, according to TMZ. As soon as he patches thing up with Jenner, he'll reactivate his account.
Getting rid of Instagram isn't the only thing Scott is doing to save his relationship of over a year with Jenner. TMZ's sources say that Scott, who is on his Astroworld Tour, is also flying home more between shows to Jenner and their daughter Stormi Webster. He's "begging for forgiveness," but Jenner is apparently keeping her distance for now, although she hasn't broken up with him.
Scott told Rolling Stonein December that as his and Jenner's relationship progressed, he realized he needed her in his life. "It got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one.’ We’ll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up-I gotta propose in a fire way.” Scott has not proposed yet.
