Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift

The Kansas City Chiefs got back on track with a win against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Dec. 17, with Taylor Swift appearing again to root for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

In the Dec. 20 episode of Travis' podcast with his brother Jason called New Heights, the tight end revealed that he had to "keep it cool" while she watched for an adorable reason.

The two brothers recapped the game, showing a photo of Swift and her father, Scott Swift, cheering for the Chiefs, leading Travis to say, "I'll say this, they showed Taylor at the game, and, I mean, you don't see an entire home team fanbase go insane for somebody wearing the opposite team's colors."

"They went absolutely insane when they showed Taylor on the screen," Travis went on, before admitting, "I was trying to keep it cool, I was like, don't show your cards, don't show your cards."

Travis briefly referred to a moment when the audience saw Swift on the camera, leading Patriots fans to loudly boo, noting, that there “might have been a few Brads and Chads that were booing,” but Swift seemed to smoothly brush it off, smiling and chatting with those around her.

He continued: "It was fun, man. Shout out to the Patriots, New England. Taylor, she’s on record saying that that stadium is one of the funnest that she’s played at, so for them to show her is just kind of showing her some love. So shout out to the Patriots for doing that.”

Fans saw Travis' new comments as another sign that he's a keeper, with one writing in the YouTube comments, "can’t believe I actually heard Travis say 'I was trying to keep it cool. I was like don’t show your cards, don’t show your cards❤🎉🎉 Taylor Alison Swift you got the one🎉."

Travis subtly showed his affection for Swift in a different way on game night, with a video from before the game showing the football star fondly looking at a poster of Swift in Gillette Stadium, where she has performed on tour.

On the other hand, Swift didn't seem to hold back her emotions during the game, reacting strongly when Travis was pushed on the field.

While Swift has attended the last few games to watch Travis, the Chiefs will next play the Las Vegas Raiders on Dec. 25, and it's unclear yet if she will attend.
