Why Taylor Swift Wasn't at Karlie Kloss's Wedding
Karlie Kloss quietly wed her longtime boyfriend Josh Kushner yesterday in a custom Dior dress. The ceremony was in upstate New York and was small-about 80 guests, People reported-and Kloss's friend Taylor Swift was not one of them.
Just as Kloss shared her Instagram announcing her wedding, Swift posted an Instagram Story of herself in Perth, Australia, announcing "we're here!" Swift is performing at the Optus Stadium today-though her concert is likely just beginning now, as Perth is 12 hours ahead of New York. That's a roughly 25 hour flight too from New York, so making Kloss's Thursday wedding on East Coast time would have been impossible with a show scheduled.

Swift and Kloss's friendship status has come into question over the last few months, simply because the two have kept it largely private. But there's no drama there either: The two remain "good friends," Kloss said in an interview posted earlier this month. And Swift may be able to celebrate Kloss's wedding anyway, as the model is planning a larger celebration for friends and loved ones in the spring, per People, and Swift's tour will be well over by then.
