Why Taylor Swift Walked the 2019 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Without Boyfriend Joe Alwyn

This comes among speculation that her latest single "The Archer" was written about him.
When Taylor Swift stepped out onto the TCAs red carpet, I audibly gasped for two reasons: number one being, that SUIT, which looks like a 1970s Versace-inspired daydream, and number two, she's all by herself. Not a Joe Alwyn in sight.
Now, in the almost three years that she's been dating her boyfriend, the two have never ever walked a red carpet together. They've been spotted heading in and out of numerous fancy events, but not once in history have they graced us with their power couple presence at an award show or press event.
In that sense, it's not so surprising that Taylor chose to walk alone, however, being that her latest song, "The Archer" is rumored to be about her long-term boyfriend, I had assumed the two would finally go public with their relationship in the name of good old fashioned album sales. Instead, all I got was this fabulous technicolored fashion moment, which admittedly, I am more than satisfied with.
Right now, it's unclear why Taylor chose not to bring Joe as her date. His latest movie Harriet, is set to hit theaters on November 1, so he might still be wrapped up in obligations surrounding the new film.
That, or, since she's the one nominated for not one, but seven Teen Choice Awards, she just doesn't need a man beside her.
