In case you haven't heard, Red Table Talk has been cancelled for the time being following the shuttering of Meta's Facebook Watch originals group, according to Deadline. 😞 Over the years, the über popular talk show—which was co-hosted by Jada Pinkett-Smith, her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and her daughter Willow Smith—played host to many impactful conversations in the cultural landscape, including Jada's own marriage troubles with her husband Will Smith and her “entanglement” with singer August Alsina, Olivia Jade's college admissions scandal, and Jordyn Woods's side of the story about what happened with Tristan Thompson.

But despite the fact that the show is currently stalled, Deadline says its production company Westbrook Studios—which was founded by Jada and Will—is reportedly looking for a new distributor. Which makes so much sense! After all, not only did the show amass *tons* of views, but it also allowed Jada, Adrienne, and Willow to carry out incredibly important conversations.

Back in 2021, Jada herself revealed to Rolling Stone that "broadening the empire" was her goal with the expansion of the Red Table Talk brand. "To be able to sit [as] three Black women and see the variety of perspectives is really interesting, because I know a lot of people just like to put Black women in one big old pot. That myth has to be dissolved," she said. And earlier today, the celeb took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message that doubly insinuates that the show hopefully won't be on a hiatus for long:

"We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disband. We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come," Jada wrote. "We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home and we'll see you soon." The post has amassed tons of Likes and support from fans, one of whom wrote, "Job well done, Jada!! See you at your new network!! A NEW journey awaits❤️."
