Why Priyanka Chopra Wasn't With Nick Jonas at His 'Jumanji' Premiere
Nick Jonas had a big night in his acting career yesterday, attending the premiere of Jumanji: The Next Level with his brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas in Hollywood. His wife Priyanka Chopra was far away, in India. Nick detailed to Entertainment Tonight why she skipped his premiere.
"She's in India right now, shooting a movie there, although she's jealous because she loves Jumanji," he said. "She loved the last one. And she really wanted to be here, but she's got work."
He also spoke about how the two cope with long distance in their marriage, since Priyanka and Nick's work as an actress and touring musician, respectively, does separate them geographically regularly. "It's been almost four and half months on the road, and it's been, you know, interesting," he started. "But we have an incredibly beautiful balance in our lives and kind of an understanding of our priorities. That's the most important thing."
Priyanka showed her support for Nick from afar this morning. She shared an Instagram Story last night from the set of the movie she's working on, The White Tiger, and she posted a story with a message to her husband this morning. "So proud of you my love! So much fomo! Congratulations on #jumanjinextlevel."
Priyanka and Nick last shared tributes on Instagram to mark their one-year wedding anniversary last week.
"My promise. Then..today.. forever. You bring me joy, grace, balance, excitement, passion.. all in the same moment...thank you for finding me..Happy First wedding anniversary Husband.. @nickjonas ❤️💋" Priyanka wrote. "And Thank you to everyone for the love and good wishes. We feel blessed."

"One year ago today we said forever... well forever isn’t nearly long enough. I love you with all of my heart @priyankachopra happy anniversary," Nick wrote in his post.
