Why Olivia Rodrigo’s Boyfriend, Louis Partridge, Skipped the 2024 Grammys

Olivia Rodrigo’s big night at the 2024 Grammys did not include a red carpet debut with her boyfriend, Louis Partridge. He was not seen at the ceremony with her, but his absence is not too surprising considering the relatively new couple value their privacy. Rodrigo and Partridge were really only seen together in paparazzi photos in December. They have not been photographed at any events together yet.

Still, Partridge is supporting Rodrigo from afar on what is a very big night for her music career. The singer is up for six awards: Record of the Year (“Vampire”), Album of the Year (Guts),Best Pop Vocal Album (Guts), Song of the Year (“Vampire”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Vampire”), and Best Rock Song (“Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl”).

No real details have come out about Rodrigo and Partridge’s relationship beyond the candid photos. In mid-December, an eyewitness spoke to People about seeing the couple in Tannersville, New York. “They were browsing the apothecary goods at a shop called Sundry on Main Street,” they said. “They were very cute and [were] overheard saying it was their first time in the area. They mostly spoke with gazes and body language. It was very cute.”

Rodrigo and Partridge were first rumored to be dating in late October. A source told The Sun then, “Olivia flew to London with her best pal, singer Conan Gray, but it was Louis who she came to see. They met through mutual pals earlier in the year and have been messaging quite a bit. She has spent a few days in the capital hanging out with them all but it’s been Louis who she has been inseparable from. They have been for dinners and nights out. They hit a club together on Friday night and were acting very coupley. It’s really sweet to see her happy.”
