Why Nina Dobrev Walked the 2019 Grammys Red Carpet Without Her New BF Grant Mellon
Looks like Nina Dobrev is still keeping her new relationship with her beau, Grant Mellon, hush-hush.
Nina just walked down the 2019 Grammys red carpet solo in a nude full length gown. Fans might be surprised to see her at the music awards show, where she is actually presenting an award.
Despite the fact that recent news of their relationship circled around the internet earlier this week, the couple is still keeping things quiet.
"Even though the relationship is still hush-hush, Nina refers to Grant as her boyfriend among her inner circle of friends," a source told E! News.
They also revealed that it might take some time for the new couple to take their relationship public.
"Nina and Grant have been intentionally keeping their relationship as low-key as possible," they revealed.
Despite their hush-hush relationship, they were spotted together at Nina's 30th birthday party, where she also reunited with a couple of her The Vampire Diaries co-stars.
Nina has a lot of new projects coming up, including her new show Fam, which recently premiered. The show is her first TV role since the end of The Vampire Diaries.
"The reason I took the show when the opportunity presented itself was that it was so different from anything I’d ever done before," she told TVLine. "It was also scary, which only made me want to do it more. Anything that’s challenging and scares the s–t out of me is exciting. The laugh lines on my face are getting deeper and deeper, and I couldn’t be happier about it."
