Seth Meyers is taking the rest of the week off, but unfortunately, it's not for a relaxing reason.

Meyers recently revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time, causing him to cancel his shows for the week.

The talk show host told fans via Twitter that he will be shutting down production, stating, "After negative tests Monday and Tuesday I tested positive for COVID this morning. Canceling shows the rest of this week. Apologies to our scheduled guests and loyal viewers!"

Guests who were set to make an appearance on the coming episodes include Only Murders in the Building star, Nathan Lane, musical guest Maren Morris, Adam Pally who stars in truTV's 101 Places to Party Before You Die, and Rap Sh!t star, Issa Rae along with comedian Nikki Glasser

This marks the second time Meyers was forced to cancel his show due to COVID-19. Back in January, the host took to his Twitter to announce that he had to cancel, promising to start back up the following Monday.

"The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!) We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!" he wrote.

Meyers isn't the only late night host that got hit with the wrath that is COVID-19. Jimmy Kimmel and fellow late-night colleague Stephen Colbert were also forced to push back shows after getting infected.

In May, Kimmel announced that his daughter gave him the virus when he jokingly tweeted, "Our daughter brought us covid (even though we specifically asked her not to.)" He continued, "All feeling fine, I am double vaxxed and boosted but the show must not go on."

The talk show host sent his apologies to guests Tom Cruise, and Iliza Shlesinger. He also revealed that comedian Mike Birbiglia would be filling in for him.

Although, like Meyers, that wasn't the only time Kimmel came down with the virus. Later that same month, Kimmel was forced to sit out a few more shows, leaving John Mulaney and Andy Samberg to guest host Jimmy Kimmel Live! in his place.

"I'm such a positive person, I tested positive AGAIN. I am feeling fine," he tweeted. "The great John @Mulaney & Andy Samberg @TheLonelyIsland have graciously agreed to host @JimmyKimmelLive for me tomorrow."

Colbert himself also tested positive back in April, along with a second time in May.

Seems like these late night hosts can't catch a break!
