Lindsay Lohan had the most emotional reaction when she re-watched her iconic film The Parent Trap with baby son Luai for the first time—and who can blame her?

On Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Lohan explained that she rarely watches her own films, because she finds it uncomfortable to hear her own voice, but that the experience was different when she had her seven-month-old (whom she shares with husband Bader Shammas) by her side.

The actor said that when she returned home from work one day recently, she found her baby watching the 1998 remake of the Disney family comedy—and, of course, she was immediately moved to tears. “I started crying because I’m like, He doesn’t even know that’s Mommy yet,” Lohan said. “I was like, Do I turn it off or do I just—? And he was kind of just staring, because maybe my voice was still similar to how it was then. So I was like, Maybe he knows like a little bit that it’s me, because it sounds like me. But it was a really magical moment. I took tons of pictures of it.”

Lohan played two roles, starring as twins separated at birth Annie James and Hallie Parker in the 1998 film. It was her first major role, which she later followed with hit flicks including Freaky Friday (2003) and Mean Girls (2004).

Earlier this month, the actor paid homage to a famous scene from The Parent Trap on The Tonight Show with the help of host Jimmy Fallon. See the funny moment below:
