Why Kylie Jenner Isn't With Travis Scott at the American Music Awards

It's a big night for young Hollywood at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles. But Travis Scott, who's nominated for two AMAs, doesn't have Kylie Jenner as his plus one this evening. The rapper didn't walk the red carpet but he will perform during the show. Hoever, Jenner is in Los Angeles; she shared an Instagram Story of herself with their daughter Stormi yesterday.

Scott is nominated for Favorite Album - Rap/Hip-Hop (Astroworld) and Favorite Song - Rap/Hip-Hop ("Sicko Mode"). While Jenner and Scott are no longer dating, the two co-parents remain friends and supportive of each other. Jenner attended Scott's Astroworld Fest performance in Houston earlier this month. She also appeared to send him flowers.

He posted an Instagram Story of them, writing, "Love u, That I really do."

A source told People last week that Jenner considers herself single and has been spending some time with Drake…although they aren't about to become a full-fledged couple. "Kylie doesn’t seem to be dating," the source said. "She sees Drake occasionally, but it doesn’t seem serious." Jenner's rep later denied any relationship.

A separate source told the outlet that Jenner and Scott are still amicable. "She still sees Travis and they spend time together with Stormi," the source said. "It seems to be more of a friendship.”

Jenner made one remark about her and Scott's status on Twitter after reports initially broke that the two were on a break. In an October 3 tweet she confirmed that yes, they're just friends.

"Travis and i [sic] are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi," she added with a double exclamation mark emoji. "Our friendship and our daughter is priority."
