Why Kylie Jenner Is Being Criticized for Her New Instagram Post

Kylie Jenner is being criticised for her latest Instagram post showing her working in the lab for brand Kylie Cosmetics.
The 24-year-old shared a selection of snaps from a lab in Milan, Italy, adding the caption, "in the lab creating new magic for you guys 💕 better than ever. @kyliecosmetics." Pictures show Kylie wearing a white lab coat, alongside various photos and videos offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how products are made.
The Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account also shared a similar set of pics, writing, "@kyliejenner in the lab 🥼 💕 we can’t wait to share all the new products we have coming. Is that foundation we see? 🤫."
However, Kylie has since faced backlash for the posts, with some followers honing in on the fact that she doesn't appear to be wearing usual lab gear, such as a hair net or gloves.
Commenting on Kylie's original post, one fan wrote, "[Aren't you] supposed to wear gloves, mask and the hair net thingy???" Meanwhile, another added, "No gloves though 😬." A third wrote, "Where is your protecting cap?" with a fourth chiming in, "No gloves or a hair net in a lab??? Or even a mask???"
Kylie is yet to publicly respond to criticism. However, sources reportedly told Page Six that the cosmetics founder wasn't actually on the production floor while pictures and videos were being taken. According to the insider, Kylie is thought to have been reviewing colours and discussing new ideas while in the lab.
Of course, Kylie's pictures are just one snapshot of the day, so it's not clear whether her outfit remained the same throughout the whole lab visit, or whether she wore any extra protective gear during trips to other areas of the building. Plus, it's possible that she may have simply taken off any extra protective equipment in order to snap the photos.
