As Kim Kardashian celebrated her 43rd birthday over the weekend, one member of the family was noticeably absent: her older sister Kourtney.
While many may have presumed Kourtney skipped out on the party due to her ongoing feud with Kim, according to the birthday girl, their fights are never that deep, and Kourt had a very valid reason for missing out.
"So blessed to have hit the jackpot of friends! I couldn’t have ever dreamed I would be so lucky to call these girls my friends ✨ thank you for all the birthday love ❤️ and Kourt I’m jumping in bed with you next week for our bed rest picnic 🎂," Kim explained in the caption of the birthday party photo book she shared to her Instagram page on Sunday, Oct. 22.
Kourtney is currently pregnant with her fourth baby and her first with husband Travis Barker, who also shares three kids with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
Since the 44-year-old Poosh founder and her rocker husband began trying to expand their family last year, the couple has been incredibly transparent about the struggles they faced–and there have been a few, from the side effects of undergoing IVF treatments to their unborn baby needing emergency surgery.
Kourt herself has even said that her fourth pregnancy has not been like the others, though she remains optimistic, suggesting it's all a part of "God's plan."
While the A-list couple has not publicly disclosed her due date, given when they announced the pregnancy, Kourtney is presumably in her last trimester.
