Why Justin Bieber Won’t Speak Out About the Hailey and Selena Gomez TikTok Drama

Justin and Hailey Bieber have kept their social media business as usual amid TikTok’s ongoing discussion of their history with Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, along with Hailey’s alleged not-always-kind treatment of her. There’s a reason the couple has opted to ignore the social media commentary and why Justin himself hasn’t jumped in to defend his wife or ask fans on both sides to stop scrutinizing two women he loved, a source told Entertainment Tonight yesterday. The Biebers are truly hoping it will just fade away.

The source explained, “Hailey and Justin are doing fine. They don’t want to continually deal with this repetitive, ongoing former relationship drama. They are just taking things day by day and don’t want this to be something that impacts them negatively. Justin knows that speaking publicly about it will only amplify the situation and bring more attention to it, so they have been supporting each other privately.”

Justin did share three tributes to Hailey on his Instagram recently, publicly affirming his love for her. “LUV U BABY,” he wrote in his first post, a carousel of photos of them together.

Neither Hailey or Justin have acknowledged the TikTok drama at all. Selena has though, using two comments on her most recent TikTok to thank fans for their support of her and to call for everyone to show all parties involved kindness.

Selena wrote, “Thank you and love you all so much. I’m deeply grateful for each and every one of you humans. You make me unbelievably happy.”

She added in a second comment, “Please, please be kinder and consider others mental health. My heart has been heavy, and I only want good for everyone. All my love.”
