Why Justin Bieber Is Purposefully Staying Away From Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have more history than World War II. They've been on and off-again basically since they first started dating right up until Bieber's engagement to Hailey Baldwin. And it looks like now they might never even be in the same room again, because Bieber is reportedly making purposeful decisions to stay far, far away from Gomez in order to remain "loyal" to his now-wife Baldwin.

“Justin has stayed away from Selena to be loyal to Hailey,” a source reported to Us Weekly. The source also added that Gomez and Bieber “haven’t talked recently.” Bieber and Gomez were last linked in March 2018-just three months before Gomez and Bieber were confirmed to be back together. As such, Baldwin is understandably wary of Bieber's ex.

The outlet reports that the couple's engagement was "a tough pill to swallow" for Gomez, but it certainly didn't break her. Following treatment for mental health issues and a break from social media, Gomez looks happier and healthier than ever. She's been spending time celebrating friends and working on her physical and mental health, as well as putting out new music. (She just released "I Can't Get Enough" in collaboration with Benny Blanco, Tainy, and J. Balvin.)
