Here’s Why JoJo Siwa Hasn’t Been Wearing Her Signature Bow As Much These Days
Has something seemed different to you about JoJo Siwa lately? You may have noticed her hair has changed a bit. Well, that's because it has. The dancer, who usually rocks a signature bow in her high ponytails has been ditching the accessory more and more lately.
JoJo spoke with with Instagram head Adam Mosseri on Tuesday during Instagram and Facebook's Creator Week about her recent decision to switch up her look.
"I just had my 18th birthday and it was right around my birthday that I realized, 'I kinda wanna do my hair different today,'" JoJo said when Adam took note of the fact that the bow was missing in the interview.
JoJo admitted that it was hard to tell her mom that she wanted to wear her hair differently, even harder than coming out to her. In the end, though, JoJo explained that she felt it was, "the right time to do something different and to do something maybe a little more mature."
That being said, don't be surprised if you see a bow in JoJo's hair moving forward. "The bow is still a part of my life," she said. "I still love bows. I forever will. They’re who I am, but maybe I won’t wear it every day."
As we know, JoJo looks absolutely gorg with her hair down, so I, for one, am excited for more loose curl moments.
