Why Is Taylor Swift's Boyfriend Walking the Globes Carpet Solo?

Oh hi, Joe Alwyn! Loved you in The Favourite last year. You're so pretty. But WAIT.

Are you seriously showing up to the Golden Globes without Taylor Swift?!

Swifties were counting down the days until the 2019 Globes, which they surely thought would be the night Taylor and Joe became red carpet official. But shortly after 7 p.m., Joe and his pile of shiny blond hair showed up solo. No one on his arm. No one at his side. Just...Joe.

But, before you start Google Image'ing photos of Joe so you can draw X's all over it, know that Taylor DID in fact make it to the Globes. While she didn't walk down the carpet with Joe, she certainly did show up to present none other than Lady Gaga with the award for Best Original Song in a Movie. That's "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson, by the way.

Still waiting on those shots of them making out during a commercial break, tho.
