    Lifestyle News•April 12, 2018

It was only a matter of time before schools began experimenting with eliminating homework. One high school in Sweden has taken it a step further: banning not only homework but tests.

A national emergency has been declared. Now what?

J: It’s so blatantly obvious that our entire system is broken if the president feels he has to declare a national emergency in order to get funding for the border wall. Whatever your political stance is on this it shouldn’t matter. The only thing that should is that THE PRESIDENT is using this as a loophole in the system for him to be able to access this money from the defense department where they had decided on how it was to be spent. This will certainly create a precedent for many more national emergencies when there isn’t one. Is it ok though for congress and senate to be solely responsible for these financial decisions when they are free to take on “sponsors” throughout their terms? It is the definition of a conflict of interest. So now we have a president doing something that will set the standard for all future “state of emergencies” in response to “the lawmakers” purposely ignoring it and going forth with what they have been bribed, I mean paid to do. Businesses and corporations should not control the direction our country takes at a political level. That’s why we have politicians and business people. But somehow lines got blurred and now they are running America. Just like church and state being separate there needs to be a clear defining seperation between state and business. I think the only way to do that is to have some amendments to the constitution outlining what is allowed and what is not in a very privileged position as a lawmaker.
