Why Fans Are Convinced Miley Cyrus Released a Secret Album

Miley Cyrus fans found evidence of a possible secret album.

TikToker Andrew Keenan-Bolger made a video showing his findings. As he explained, on the same day that Cyrus put out Endless Summer Vacation, an artist named "Clara Pierce" also uploaded an album called Down with Me.

"Give it a listen. There is no way this is not Miley Cyrus!" said Keenan-Bolger. He also showed that when you type Clara Pierce on Google, there are no results. "Who has zero entries [on Google] and has made an entire produced album?" he questioned.

The TikToker then played a clip of a song called "Hands of Time" that sounds just like Cyrus.

Hours after his first TikTok on the mystery, Keenan-Bolger made a video with an update. He shared that it's most likely the pop star's scrapped album, She is Miley Cyrus.

Some of the track names from She is Miley Cyrus matched one that was listed as Clara Pierce's, including "Not My Vibe." He speculated that a fan had found the leaked songs and shared them on streaming platforms so other fans could enjoy the tracks.

After the TikToks went viral, Down with Me was removed from Spotify. As of the time of writing, it's still available to listen on Apple Music. The voice is distinctly Cyrus', with songs that delve into a painful breakup. The leaked record feels like a combination of all of Cyrus' eras, including hip-hop influences, rock-leaning sounds, and powerful ballads.

The version uploaded on streaming platforms doesn't seem to be mixed, with uneven sound quality. That hints to it being a leak rather than Cyrus' team slyly sharing it.
