Elizabeth Hurley regrets not being able to celebrate King Charles' coronation.

In an interview with People, the actress said she couldn't watch the historic event in its entirety. "I was in America, so I didn't watch it live," she said. "I had to watch it delayed and the bits I watched were absolutely gorgeous, just elegant, beautiful and majestic—and I'm so glad I wasn't in charge, can you imagine? Can you imagine how to organize that?"

Hurley, 57, also shared that she felt major FOMO upon hearing about how her friends in England celebrated the coronation. "My friends had their own tea parties and their own watching parties, and of course, I felt a bit left out, as opposed to watching it later on YouTube! But it looked magnificent," she admitted.

King Charles' coronation ceremony was held on Saturday, May 6. The event had a star-studded guest list, including Emma Thompson, Dame Judi Dench, Dr. Jill Biden, and Nick Cave. Katy Perry and Lionel Richie also attended and performed at the coronation concert after King Charles was sworn in.

In a recent chat with Parade, Richie spoke about being selected for such an important performance. "To get that invitation, 'Would you like to witness a little bit of history?' is not too bad for a little Alabama boy coming up through the ranks. I'm very proud to be there," he said.

Perry also spoke to Parade about being chosen for the event, saying, "I met His Majesty a few years ago and he asked me to be an ambassador for this foundation that helps end child trafficking, which really aligns with what I do with UNICEF, as well, and being a mother. When you have your own, you're like, 'These are precious, innocent babies.' I’m glad we're aligned on that and I'm glad I can be an ambassador and represent the USA and be there with my fellow American Idol judge."
