Does Dune have a post-credit scene?

In a world where post-credit scenes are just as sought after as films themselves, Dune went against the grain option not to include a post-credits scene.

Why doesn't Dune have a post-credit scene?

There's no long-drawn-out explanation for this one. Dune director Denis Villeneuve simply doesn't like them. He said, "I don’t like post-credits scenes. There is a very specific final emotion that I was looking for with the final frame [of Dune] and I don’t want to mess with that," in a chat with NME. "So no, I don’t use post-credits scenes. I’ve never done that and I would never."

Will there be a director's cut edition of Dune?

Rumors of a possible director's cut came at the suggestion of Dune star Jason Momoa. Unfortunately, that won't be happening either. The acclaimed director shot down those claims as well. "I love Jason but such a thing doesn’t exist! The Director’s Cut is what people are watching in theatres right now," he said. "There will be no other cut."
