After a jam-packed season full of romance, tragedy, drama, and cliffhangers, Virgin River season four (and the cast!) has a lot to live up to.

Most of the beloved original crew of Virgin River is returning this season, but there's also a new character that everyone has their eyes on: Dr. Cameron Hayek. Cameron will be the new doctor at the clinic, and seemingly the new heart-throb in town (look out, Jack!). Based on what we saw in the trailer, we are predicting a possible love triangle between Mel, Jack and Cameron (oh, the drama!).

Dr. Cameron Hayek is played by actor Mark Ghanimé, who you likely know from a ton of television shows and movies!

The 44-year-old Canadian-Lebanese actor first became interested in acting when he landed a small background role in Chasing Freedom in 2004. Since then, Ghanimé has had small roles in Supernatural, Smallville, The Age of Adalin, and The Wedding Planner. He is most well known for his roles as Don Carlo in The CW's Reign, Major Sergio Balleseros in Syfy's Helix, and Dr. Jamie Albagett on The CW's Emily Owens M.D.

He has also starred in Lifetime Christmas movies such as Always and Forever Christmas, Twinkle All the Way, and Candy Cane Christmas.

Kai Bradbury is also becoming a regular in this season of Virgin River playing Denny Cutler, Doc's long-lost grandson. Denny made his first appearance at the end of season three, and left us all wondering: what is going on?!

Production for Virgin River season five is already underway, and Ghanimé let fans know on his Instagram that Dr. Cameron Hayek will be returning next season. Now all that's left to do it binge season four, and decide what we think of this new character, and of course watch the drama unfold.
