Why distance is important when breaking out your grill
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — For many people, Memorial Day Weekend means it’s time to break out the grill, coinciding with the unofficial start of summer.
Friday morning on Wake Up, Lt. Rayshad Russell from the Buffalo Fire Department joined us to talk about avoiding potential perils.
Here are some tips for safe grilling:
Propane and charcoal grills should only be used outdoors
Grills should be placed well away from house and deck railings
Keep children and pets at least three feet away from the grilling area
Never leave your grill unattended
