Why The Bachelorette Isn’t On Tonight and When It Will Return

Fans must wait for the big finale!

The Bachelorette fans will have to wait until tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 20, for the grand live finale of ABC’s hit reality show.

Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey have been looking for husbands in the first version of the series featuring two women—and expect proposals from their chosen men!

The second and concluding part of the finale will be airing from 8 to 11 p.m. ET tomorrow night.

Why The Bachelorette Isn't On Tonight

Although viewers saw the dating series on Monday nights most of the season, the past two weeks have switched to a Tuesday night schedule due to ABC airing Monday night football.

Tonight, the network will show the game between the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles.

The move means The Bachelorette finale also won’t have to compete against Monday’s live premiere of Dancing with the Stars at 8 p.m. ET on Disney+.

Also, in a treat for fans of both shows, Gabby will perform as one of the contestants on the new DWTS!

After the ICU nurse dances with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy on Monday evening, viewers will see if she gets a proposal from her final guy, Erich Schwer, on The Bachelorette, the following night.

Meanwhile, her co-star Rachel also hopes to get engaged—to her last man standing, Tino Franco.

Last week, the blonde flight instructor and Gabby watched the first part of the finale with a live studio audience.

Rachel was seen eliminating Zach and Aven in dramatic scenes, and being happy that Tino got along well with her family.

Gabby’s relatives also loved her final choice, Erich, but after she pressed him about engagement, he announced instead, “I want to date you in the real world.”

The brunette beauty freaked out, telling the cameras, “that doesn’t scream I want to propose.”

Gabby shouted to producers, “He said, ‘I want to date you!’ “ and called the scene a “big fat dumpster fire.”

But she told Parade.com in a recent interview that she couldn’t have been happier with Rachel’s support during the dual-Bachelorette season.

“I really think Rachel and I wouldn’t have it any other way. To have a friend by my side was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. To lean on my friend meant so much. We always wanted to see the other person happy,” Gabby said.

Rachel also noted to Parade.com, “The true love story of the season is Gabby and I. We have been through so much together. We always supported each other.”

Host Jesse Palmer previously told Parade.com about the final episode, “There’s still a little way to go and some more twists and turns. There are some shocking things lying ahead that I think that are really going to surprise Bachelor Nation. Will we have one proposal? Will we have two? Or does this thing completely fall apart?
