A reality show isn't off the table for Alec Baldwin and his brood.

The 30 Rock alum, 65, revealed on SiriusXM's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast that he and his wife Hilaria Baldwin have made pitches about their family so they can work from home.

The dad of eight explained to host Kelly Ripa that everything he does "is filtered through the idea of my family."

"So jobs I take, jobs I don't take. Somebody said, a famous TV producer, who I won't name, said to me, 'Come do a series with me in Vancouver.' And I was like, 'I'm not going to Vancouver for five months. That's not happening,'" Alec said in the podcast episode.

Read on for more about Alec Baldwin's potential reality show.

Is Alec Baldwin doing a reality show?

The actor doesn't have a reality show in the works, but he recently said on Kelly Ripa's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast that he and his wife have considered doing a reality show so that he can work from his home in New York—and they've even gone so far as to pitch ideas.

That said, Baldwin also admitted on the podcast that he kind of craves a private life. After discussing the tragic Rust shooting incident, he said, "Now at my age when that happened, I really do think about, you know, I've kinda had enough. I mean, I've done this for a long time and I wanna have a private life. I don't want my kids to be influenced by any of that or spattered by any of that. And so not working, I've been working less and less and less, and I'm home and my wife and I, we wanna travel the world with the kids. I mean, I wanna show seven kids Rome and London and Paris and Madrid and blah, blah, blah."

Perhaps their travels could be part of the reality show?

What would Alec Baldwin's reality show be about?

Well, like all reality shows, Baldwin's potential series would in theory be about his life, including his very large brood with yogi wife Hilaria Baldwin, who's no stranger to controversy herself (and would therefore make for an excellent reality-TV star).

The Emmy winner and Hilaria, who wed in 2012, share seven kids: Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 5, Eduardo, 3, Lucia, 2, and Ilaria, 1. Alec is also a father to 28-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin, whom he shares with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Hilaria has previously spoken to E! News about embracing "the chaos" of raising seven kids. "I feel like one and two, I was more trying to hold the chaos. And by three, they outnumber you," she said last year.

Although Alec confirmed that he doesn't plan on having more children, his family grew in 2023 with the arrival of his daughter Ireland and her boyfriend André Allen Anjos' first child, Holland. The new grandfather celebrated his granddaughter's arrival in May, writing on Instagram, "My first baby had her first baby. Much love to the three of you!”

Meanwhile, Hilaria posted a picture of her kids, writing: "All of these aunties and uncles and us grandparents are so excited that Holland is here!!! Congratulations to the mama and papa, Ireland and Andre 🫶🏼. We love you so very much!"

When will Alec Baldwin's reality show get released?

It has to get greenlit first, which it has not. At this point, the Baldwins seem open to the idea of a reality show, but not totally sold on it.

How to watch Alec Baldwin's reality show

The show does not exist yet, so for now you can keep up with his and Hilaria's Instagram pages, where they each chronicle plenty of chaotic family fun.
