50 Cent rose to fame with suggestive songs like his number-one hit single "Candy Shop." But two decades after his debut, the Power star is looking to adopt a more family-friendly lifestyle.

On Jan. 9, he took to Instagram to share some exciting news about a forthcoming project he's working on. While he remained light on details, he assured his followers that he would be putting all of his time and attention into it—so much so that he's forgoing sex this year to do it.

"My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted," he wrote in an Instagram post. "I’m practicing abstinence. I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level."

In recent years, 50 has been romantically linked to model and fitness influencer Jamira "Cuban Link" Haynes. How the rapper's newly abstinent lifestyle affects their relationship remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, 50 is keeping his hands full with several other projects ranging from TV to beverages. He serves as an executive producer on the Power spinoffs Ghost, Raising Kanan, and Force as well as BMF on Starz. He's branched into the alcohol world with Branson cognac and Le Chemin du Roi champagne, which he frequently posts about online.

As for what's coming in 2024, there are already a few irons in the fire. He and Eminem are working together to bring a TV series based on Em's hit 2002 film 8 Mile to the small screen. BMF and Power fans will likely get some new TV to watch in 2024 as well.
