Who's Not Returning for 'The Real Housewives of Dubai' Season 2?

Real Housewives of Dubai

When the Real Housewives of Dubai premiered, it was monumental. While other countries have spun off their own local series following the success of Real Housewives in the U.S., RHODubai was the first international iteration produced for and by Bravo.

Chanel Ayan, Dr. Sara Al Madani, Caroline Brooks, Lesa Milan, Nina Ali and Caroline Stanbury all came together for the first series of the Real Housewives franchise to be filmed in the Middle East. And what we got in return was unrelenting drama, incredible outfits and a peek into living in one of the most magical places on earth.

Most Bravo fans have become accustomed to the New Jersey mansions, gaudy Beverly Hills homes and sleek New York apartments, but Dubai offered a new perspective, one paved with uber-luxury, from sky high towers to gorgeous yacht parties.

Fans fell in love with the women of Dubai, and at BravoCon 2023, Bravo officially announced the show's return.

Here's everything we know about The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2:

When does The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 premiere?

There is no official Season 2 premiere date yet. Though, at BravoCon 2023, it was announced that Season 2 would be coming in 2024.

Who is in the cast of The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2?

On Jan.30, Nina announced she would be leaving the show. "I’ll be moving my attention away from the show to allow myself the space to focus on new challenges," she wrote on Instagram. The announcement came despite Nina being part of the cast's impassioned plea to return to our screens at BravoCon in 2022. "If and when there's a Season 2, we're all ready," said Nina. "I'm manifesting it! For all of us!"

At BravoCon 2023, the official cast for Season 2 was announced including five housewives from Season 1 and one newbie.

Chanel Ayan

Breakout star, Chanel garnered a reputation for her stunning—and sometimes controversial—outfits, from wearing what was arguably a wedding dress to her co-star's engagement party to all of her iconic confessional looks. Her reads were just as amazing as her ensembles, with Chanel taking her fellow cast members down with ease. She could never see eye-to-eye with Caroline Stanbury or Sara. So, it'll be interesting to see if the feud continues, or if Chanel will set her sight on someone else next.

Dr. Sara Al Madani

Sara is a girl boss epitomized. She's a serial entrepreneur who runs a multitude of businesses from fashion and tech to marketing, all while juggling being a single mother. As a UAE native and one of two Muslim housewives on the show, we saw Sara and Nina teach their children cultural customs and celebrate Thanksgiving with their own Arab-American twist. While her bestie, Nina, has now left the show, we may see more of that fiery side of Sara—the one that Chanel and Caroline Brooks got real familiar with.

Caroline Brooks

In 2010, Caroline and her now-ex-husband moved from Massachusetts to Dubai. After their relationship ended, she decided to stay put and follow her dreams. She established Glass House Salon and Spa, a luxury salon that caters to women of all colors, hair textures and skin types. Since the show started though, she's been an equal feud opportunist. It all started when Sara began giving Caroline unsolicited parenting advice which bubbled over into bigger and even bigger fights. The two have since made up, so could we see a potential friendship rise from the ashes?

Lesa Milan
Christ Haston/Bravo

Lesa Milan

The former Miss Jamaica winner has her own luxury maternity brand—Mina Roe—on top of being a devoted wife and mother. In fact, she once dressed Beyoncé in her fashion line. However, Lesa's biggest legacy from the first season of RHODubai was doing everything she could to take down Caroline Stanbury. Despite the two being friends, Caroline became uncomfortable when Lesa and her husband became friends. It led to some uncomfortable conversations, where Caroline accused her husband Sergio Carrallo of wanting to be intimate with Lesa. This all culminated in the finale, when Lesa revealed that Caroline was messier than we all thought, and she had in fact run a background test on Lesa to get dirt on her. This friendship is yet to be mended, so Season 2 is likely to follow these two figuring things out.

Caroline Stanbury
Chris Haston/Bravo

Caroline Stanbury

Every show needs a villain, and Caroline Stanbury seems to be the UAE's finest. It's a role some may say she's been working toward her entire TV career. Previously, Caroline was a star on Ladies of London, a show chronicling the lives of six women. On the RHODubai, Caroline butted heads with fan favorite, Chanel, and then later blew her former friendship with Lesa to smithereens. So if anyone is ready for their redemption arc, it's this reality star alum. There's no one else more capable.
