WHOAA: Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson just got tattoos together?!
Fresh off the heels of her #HotGirlSummer, things are officially heating up between Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson, as the new ‘it’ couple cement their relationship status with new tattoos.
Citing Perri Lister and Billy Idol as their inspo, the duo made a trip to celebrity tattoo artist Nico Bassil in LA last night while eating their favourite Pad Thai takeout.
Miley got a Rock n’ Roll Heart with dagger on her arm (the same as Lister’s) and '92', her birth year, on the back of her neck and Cody got a skull and sickle on his chest (a reference to Steve McQueen in the movie Papillion).
But seriously though, these two are today’s version of the iconic '80s punk couple, bangs and all – let’s be real #HotGirlFall is our fave Miley yet.

While some couples make don’t even make it Insta-official after a few weeks of dating, trust Miley and Cody to take it one step further by getting permanently inked. #OnlyInHollywood.
But this isn't the first time Miley's got tatted up for her significant other, she got a matching Vegemite jar with then boyfriend Liam Hemsworth (RIP) on her right arm, as well as sketches of her Grandmother and two dogs Floyd and Emu.
This is of course in-between the avocados and smiley face and random AF Theodore Roosevelt quote (let's be honest, she wouldn’t be Miley without some statement ink).

Miley's new addition isn’t her first post-breakup ink either, she recently got lyrics from the Pixies song 'The Thing' on her left arm, in a reference to her divorce (which we’re still recovering from).
Liam seems to be doing pretty well btw, and is now reportedly coupled up with fellow Aussie actress Madison Brown.
So what’s next for Miley and Cody, a duet? I guess we’ll just have to stayed tuned. (Refreshing feed now).
