Emma Fortin is one step closer to walking down the aisle. The fiancée of Montréal Canadiens star Brandan Gallagher celebrated the Victoria Day weekend by heading to Miami with her bridal party to celebrate her bachelorette.

On Saturday, Fortin shared photos from the group's night out at Gēkko steakhouse with the bride dressed in a pleated white mini-dress flanked by her pals in their "match made in heaven" themed attire. The bride-to-be wore several little white dresses during her getaway, while her friends adhered to different dress codes including a "send nudes" night that featured the friends dressed in different shades of tan and brown and "drunk in love" that called for Barbie-inspired pink looks from the group.

Fortin's photos earned praise from her fiancée and followers who couldn't get enough of the stylish celebrations and the bride-to-be's bachelorette wardrobe.

"The perfect bride," Gallagher commented on one of Fortin's many posts recapping the weekend.

"[Brendan Gallagher] is one lucky guy," someone wrote. "Absolute angel."

"The most gorgeous," another echoed.

"So beautiful," a follower said.

Fortin and Gallagher became engaged in July 2023 during a trip to Whistler in the same location where Gallagher's father proposed to his mother.

Fortin shared photos of the moment the NHLer popped the question with the caption, "07.07.2023. Forever and always."

So, who is Brendan Gallagher's bride-to-be? Here's everything we know about Emma Fortin so far.

Fortin hails from Sainte-Julie, Québec, a suburb of Montreal. The 27-year-old attended business school at HEC Montréal and graduated with a Master's degree in Organizational Development; she published her thesis, "Girl Boss: Exploring Women’s Leadership Development Programs Towards Decision-making Positions in an Organizational Context" in 2021.

She's currently a Management and Strategy PhD candidate.

In 2022, Fortin and Gallagher adopted a puppy together named Skye. Fortin told the Montréal Canadiens blog that she's the pup's favourite human.

"[She] follows me everywhere but Brendan takes care of him a lot," she said. "I'm more strict; [Brendan] just pretends to be strict."

Fortin has an Instagram highlight dedicated to her two dogs, Skye and Kelly.

Although a lot of attention is paid to the wives and girlfriends of NHL stars, Fortin wants the world to know there's more to her than her partner.

In Dec. 2023, Fortin spoke to TVA Nouvelles alongside Frédérike Bédard, wife of Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, about being the other-half to a famous athlete.

“These are athletes who have a routine, who have training in the morning and often have games in the evening,” she said. “They’re always on the road, so it’s important to have our own activities too.”

Fortin spoke publicly of her support for Carrefour Foundation, an organization that offers aid to survivors of domestic abuse.

"Women in need, who experience situations like this, it’s unfair and they need support,” Fortin said. “I find it incredible that great organizations like this exist, everyone should be more interested in that.”

Fortin gave the Canadiens blog a glimpse into her life with her fiancé in Montreal.

"We do everything; whether it's going for walks, going out for breakfast or dinner… We're always together," she said.

Gallagher, 32, has spoken publicly about the support Fortin has provided as his mom, Della, navigates terminal brain cancer. In March, Gallagher told Sportsnet there were some "tough times" as he came to grips with his mother's diagnosis.

“I think having (fiancée) Emma at home is huge for me, being able to talk to her," he said. "Especially being away from the family — you call back as much as you can, but it’s been tough.
